The Genealogy Room is in absolutely no way responsible regarding exchange rates and agreed payments. It is up to the user to check online with current exchange rates to know what the costs will be.

WHO CAN JOIN AND USE THIS WEBSITE?

At The Genealogy Room, our aim is to connect Genealogists and/or “Freelancers" with “Employers” or researchers/people who are researching family history and are requiring help within their search. Anyone can list themselves as a “Genealogist” within our website. They do not need to be a qualified Genealogist, therefore we encourage qualified Genealogists to add their qualifications to their profile, for employers to see and make an informed choice.


TERMINATING USERS

The Genealogy Room have the right, and will, within its sole discretion, terminate any users who are not complying with these terms. We will do this at anytime and without notification. Please remember to not spam others and abide by the websites rules at all times.

Our subscription payments are setup through PayPal. We request that you check you are happy with the privacy policy and terms of use with PayPal Payments. We may consider another automated payment method for you, like Square. Please contact us if you want this option considered. If payments go unpaid we may terminate your use as per our policy above.

It is important for a Genealogist to keep their profile updated and make sure their contact details are correct. The Genealogy Room will email you from time to time.

The Genealogy Room, as stated above, is a website where anyone can add themselves as a genealogist regardless of their qualifications or lack thereof. The Genealogy Room trusts that all freelancers who add themselves as a genealogist have a true love for history and family research and as such, are joining The Genealogy Room to assist others with their searches. The Genealogy Room is a website that purely acts as a meeting point between two parties (the client and the genealogist) with a common goal (genealogy).
